Join us Christmas Eve for our annual candlelight service of lessons and carols @ 5:30p.

Children of all ages are welcome in the worship service though there will be a nursery provided for children ages 4 and under, please RSVP below for your kids - RSVP deadline for nursery is 12/17. Kids will receive “kids’ candles”, for the candlelight portion, that they can take home (rather than real candles). If you should need to find some wiggle room for your child, feel free to take them to the lower level, though at least one parent needs to remain with them at all times.

New City meets for Sunday worship gatherings at 4400 Floral Ave., Cincinnati, Oh 45212, the church building @ the corner of Washington and Floral, just behind the Rookwood developments.

From Oakley/Hyde Park – Head north toward Rookwood on Edwards Rd., turn LEFT onto Edmondson, continue onto Smith Rd. (Edmondson turns into Smith), turn LEFT onto Floral Ave.

From 71 southbound – Take Exit 6 from I-71 S. Turn RIGHT onto Williams Ave. off the exit. Turn RIGHT onto Smith Rd.. Turn LEFT onto Floral Ave.

From 71 northbound – Take Exit 6 from I-71 N. Turn LEFT of the exit onto Edmondson/Smith Rd. Turn LEFT onto Floral Ave.

Part of meeting at building in an “urban light” neighborhood is limited parking.

The above map identifies parking locations closest to the building. Parking is first come, first served and there are a number of churches in our immediate area.

You will want to arrive early and if the weather is fair and you are close enough, you might even consider walking or riding your bike!

A On-site parking is limited and is reserved on Sunday mornings for guests, expecting mothers, and those with special needs. At times other than Sunday morning you are welcome to park in the parking lot if space is available.

B Sharpsburg Elementary backs up to our parking lot and we are able to utilize their parking lot on Sunday mornings. You can access that lot from Forest Rd.

C There are a few dedicated spots for church parking along Washington Ave. between Floral Ave. and the church building’s driveway.

D On-street parking is probably the best option. There is plentiful on street parking within a few blocks of the church building and it ought to be utilized by anyone capable of doing so. This entire map represents parking options that are within about a 2 minute walk of 4400 Floral Ave.

Note: Please respect our neighbors by parking with courtesy (i.e. not taking up two spots, blocking driveways, etc.). Also, be aware of all parking signage, fire hydrants, etc.

Since children are an important part of the church, children of all ages are welcome and encouraged to participate in our worship service (as they are able). There will be a nursery provided for children ages 4 and under. If you should need to find some wiggle room for your child, feel free to take them out of the sanctuary, though at least one parent needs to remain with them at all times. There’s no standard or expectation for what to wear. At New City, you’ll see people in jeans, mostly. Wear what you’d like, is not life more important that clothing? Your presence is what’s important to us. Come and join us.

New City Presbyterian Church

New City is a fairly new church in Oakley (a neighborhood northeast of downtown Cincinnati). We’re excited to tell you the story of what God has done, is doing, and we hope will do with our church. New City is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).
