Getting Ready for Sunday, October 29th, 2017

Our text for this week 1 Corinthians 9.1-23, 10.23-33 in our series of sermons we’re calling Life Together. The Apostle Paul was writing to Corinth to encourage the church to let the gospel inform and transform all the ways they lived life together. We’re reading their mail, so to speak, and discovering what the implications are for OUR life together.

Each week we celebrate the Lord’s Supper together. It points us to Christ’s death for us in the past, his present work feeding our souls, and our future hope in the kingdom of God. This week in preparation to come to the table we’ll pray the Lord’s Prayer.

Here are the songs you will be singing:

Praise the Lord (Psalm 117)In the Cross of Christ, A Mighty Fortress is Our God, Empty Me OutTrinity Song, In Feast or FallowWe Are Not Overcome.

We meet each Sunday at 9a & 10:45a for worship at the church building at the corner of Floral and Washington, 4400 Floral Ave., 45212. Please sit toward the front of the sanctuary and toward the center of the rows so that folks can grab seats as they make their way in.
