As we journey through advent toward Christmas, we continue our series of sermons called Hark! It’s a call to listen up and “let every heart prepare him room” as the carol sings. This week we will be focusing on the line “God and Sinners Reconciled” and looking at 2 Corinthians 5.17-21.

As a part of our worship gatherings in advent we’ll have a reading, prayer, and lighting of a candle on the advent wreath to symbolize our anticipating the arrival of the light of world into the darkness.

This week the New City Kids will leading us in song for a couple songs at BOTH services.

Each Sunday we celebrate the Lord’s Supper together. It points us to Christ’s death for us in the past, his present work feeding our souls, and our future hope in the kingdom of God. This week in preparation to come to the table we’ll pray the Lord’s Prayer.

Here are the songs you will be singing:

O Come O Come Emmanuel, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, Angels We Have Heard on High, Oh What a Special NightHark! the Herald Angels Sing, Creator of the Stars of NightMy Soul Magnifies the Lord

We meet each Sunday at 9a & 10:45a for worship at the church building at the corner of Floral and Washington, 4400 Floral Ave., 45212Please sit toward the front of the sanctuary and toward the center of the rows so that folks can find seats as they make their way in.
