Getting Ready for Sunday, March 4th 2018

Through this season of Lent we are immersing ourselves in St. Matthew’s Passion, Matthew 26-28. The word passion originally came from the Latin, the word referring specifically to Christ’s suffering on the cross and that’s what we are focusing on in this series. This Sunday we are homing in on Matthew 26.36-46.

We have the pleasure of having Jon Pfeil, a missionary in Tokyo, Japan, join us to share about the work God is doing in and through his family’s ministry.

Each Sunday we celebrate the Lord’s Supper together. It points us to Christ’s death for us in the past, his present work feeding our souls, and our future hope in the kingdom of God.

Here are the songs you will be singing:

Come Ye Souls By Sin AfflictedDeath in His GraveHallelujah! What a Savior, In the Shadow of the Glorious Cross, One Hanging on a Tree, Wood and Nails, God’s Highway

Listen on Spotify or Youtube or click on the individual links above. Take a listen and be familiar with the songs so you’ll be ready to sing come Sunday morning.

We meet each Sunday at 9a & 10:45a for worship at the church building at the corner of Floral and Washington, 4400 Floral Ave., 45212Please sit toward the front of the sanctuary and toward the center of the rows so that folks can grab seats as they make their way in.
