Getting Ready for Sunday, December 31st 2017

This Sunday finds us in the midst of Christmastide, the 7th day of Christmas. We’ll sing many favorite, classic Christmas carols one last time before we put them away until next year. We also begin a new series on prayer called Rise Up. We’ll begin the series in Genesis 32.1-32 with the story of Jacob wrestling with God.

Each Sunday we celebrate the Lord’s Supper together. It points us to Christ’s death for us in the past, his present work feeding our souls, and our future hope in the kingdom of God.

We’ll affirm our faith with the ancient and beautiful words of the Apostles’ Creed.

Here are the songs you will be singing:

O Come All Ye Faithful, God Rest Ye Merry GentlemenHark! the Herald Angels Sing, Rise UpGod is With Us, The First Noel, Joy to the World

Click here for a playlist of all that are available on YouTube or click on the individual links above. Take a listen and be familiar with the songs so you’ll be ready to sing come Sunday morning.

We meet each Sunday at 9a & 10:45a for worship at the church building at the corner of Floral and Washington, 4400 Floral Ave., 45212Please sit toward the front of the sanctuary and toward the center of the rows so that folks can grab seats as they make their way in.
