This year the 4th Sunday of advent is ALSO Christmas Eve! So we are going to gather for our regular Sunday morning worship gathering with communion though just @ 9a (no 10:45a service). And then at 5:30p we’ll gather again for our annual Candlelight Lessons & Carols Service

We are finishing up our series of sermons called Hark! based on lines that lay out the gospel from Charles Wesley’s carol Hark! the Herald Angels Sing. At 9a we’ll hear how Jesus was “”uc">Born to Give Us Second Birth" from John 3.1-15 and in the evening we’ll hear from Matthew 22.24-40: “With Angelic Host Proclaim.”

Each Sunday morning we celebrate the Lord’s Supper together. It points us to Christ’s death for us in the past, his present work feeding our souls, and our future hope in the kingdom of God. We will celebrate the Lord’s Supper in the MORNING this Sunday, but not in the evening.

For kids, all of our regular classes will be available at both services: Infants through 4th grade

Here is the massive number, Sufjan Stevens quantity, of songs you will be singing:

9a: Come Thou Long Expected Jesus, O Come All Ye Faithful, Angels We Have Heard on HighHark! the Herald Angels Sing, The First NoelCreator of the Stars of Night, Joy to the World

10:45a: Gather Round Ye Children Come, O Come All Ye Faithful, Once in Royal David’s CityO Come O Come Emmanuel, It Came Upon a Midnight Clear, O Little Town of Bethlehem, What Child is This?, O Holy Night, Hark! the Herald Angels Sing, Away in a Manger, Silent Night

Click here for a playlist of all that are available on YouTube or click on the individual links above. Take a listen and be familiar with the songs so you’ll be ready to sing come Sunday morning.

We meet each Sunday at 9a & 10:45a for worship at the church building at the corner of Floral and Washington, 4400 Floral Ave., 45212Please sit toward the front of the sanctuary and toward the center of the rows so that folks can find seats as they make their way in.
